It’s our job to attract visitors to the Duke of Buccleuch’s palaces and country houses where his world-famous art collection is displayed.

Regarded as one of the finest in Britain, it attracts visitors from across the globe who are  keen to admire paintings by Raeburn, da Vinci and Caravaggio.

However,  it was our unveiling of 50 miniature 19th century portraits, shown for the first time at Bowhill House near Selkirk, that ignited public attention and brought in visitors in record numbers.
